Terms and Conditions WAB Course

Rebooking / Cancellation 

 

Rebooking or cancelling the WAB course is possible and can be done via e-mail at info@wabenglish.ch. However, the following fees apply in the event of cancellation: 

 

- Cancellation up to 5 working days* before the course date:                 Free of charge

- Cancellation less than 4 working days* before the course date:          100% of the costs

- No-show on the course date:                                                                      100% of the costs

 

* Working days: Monday to Friday 

 

 

Payment of the course costs 

 

The course costs are to be paid in advance and must be received prior to the payment date indicated on the enclosed invoice. If you have registered at short notice, it is possible in exceptional cases to pay the course costs on the day of the course in cash only.

 

Illness / Accident

 

If you are unable to attend due to illness or accident, please notify us as soon as possible. If a doctor's certificate is presented within 2 days of the course date, you will only incur the processing fee of CHF 50. If no medical certificate is presented within 2 days, 100% of the course costs will be charged.

 

Late arrival / no-show

 

If you are running late, please contact us immediately on 079 419 41 70. Course participants who arrive 10 or more minutes late unfortunately are not entitled to a WAB course confirmation as per the instruction of the Road Safety Council. In case of unexcused non-attendance, the entire course costs will be charged.

 

Driver's license

 

Please remember to bring your valid driver's license on the day of the course (the expiration date can be found on the front of your license under point 4b). If your driver's license has already expired, please contact the Road Traffic Office immediately, as they can issue you a driving permit for the day of the course only. If you do not have a valid driver's license or a driving permit, you are not allowed to drive a vehicle and therefore not allowed to participate in the WAB course.

 

Vehicle 

 

Each course participant needs a vehicle for the WAB course. It is not permitted for more than one person to share a vehicle. If you do not have a vehicle available, we will be happy to provide you with a suitable vehicle. The cost for vehicle rental (automatic transmission) is a flat rate of CHF 70.- for one course day.

Note: A vehicle reservation is mandatory and must be completed at least 4 working days before the scheduled course day. To book your vehicle please contact us at info@wabenglish.ch. If you have already reserved a rental vehicle during your online registration then you do not need to do anything else and it will be ready for you on the day of the course. 

 

Insurance

 

On the day of the course, your own and our rental vehicles are insured against collision damage. In the event of a claim, you will be charged a deductible of up to CHF 2,000. Participation in the course is at your own risk.
